About
Hello and welcome. I’m so glad to meet you!
When I was a child, my Aunt Letitia’s gifts were always books. Through them I discovered enchanting worlds that sparked my imagination. So much, that I wrote my first short story when I was eight years old. A fairytale titled “Undine,” about a princess in an underwater kingdom. Sadly, through time and many, many moves, that original manuscript was lost.
I continued writing, but only recently have begun sharing my stories with the world. I’m thrilled to have several short pieces published in literary magazines in the past three years, with others pending publication.
I’m currently working on book one of The Weven Woods Trilogy, a high-stakes cozy fantasy combining elements from Norse Mythology with North American and Icelandic Christmas mythologies.
My upcoming anthology, The Collected Faerie Tales of Zella Clouse, provides a glimpse into the world of Weven Woods, including a revised version of “Undine,” titled “The Princess Who Longed for Silence.”
When I’m not writing, I spend my time gardening, traveling, and keeping my hound mix, Rory, from climbing on my roof (seriously, she’s fearless!)
And since so many people ask: Streeper is a family name which several generations ago wandered away from its place as a surname and settled in as a given name.
Now that you know a little about me, I’d love to learn more about you. Please sign up for my monthly newsletter so we can stay in touch!
